Firefighter Served Dog Food Gets $2.7M in Settlement

A firefighter will be paid $2.7 million to settle claims he suffered racial harassment and discrimination after fellow firemen served him spaghetti laced with dog food. A fire dept. investigation suggested the Oct. ‘04 incident was intended to be a prank to “humble” Pierce after a station volleyball game where he said, “…keep feeding the Big Dog”
